Frequently Asked Questions
All of the following must be true of your company in order to qualify for the 2026 Inc. 5000. Your company must:
Have generated revenue by March 31, 2022
Have generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2022
Have generated at least $2 million in revenue in 2025
Be privately held, for profit; based in the U.S., and independent (not a subsidiary or division of another company).
Feature In Inc. magazine: The top 500 companies will be featured in Inc. magazine and all 5000 companies will be featured on Inc.com. Dedicated Company Profile on Inc.com: Every company that makes the list will receive a dedicated company profile on Inc.com. The Inc. 5000 company profiles receive millions of impressions ever year.
Worldwide Spotlight: The elite Inc. 5000 list gives your company greater credibility with clients, investors, and the media often leading to meaningful connections to grow your business.
Team Recognition: This award publicly acknowledges your team's hard work and can help you recruit new employees.
The Inc. 5000 only looks at revenue for two years, 2025 and 2022. If your company made more gross revenue in 2025 than it did in 2022, then your odds of making the list are very good!
