Pooneh Mohajer is co-founder and CEO of tokidoki, a global pop-culture lifestyle brand that has amassed a cult-like following for its larger-than-life characters and its megawatt partnerships with evergreen brands such as Hello Kitty, Karl Lagerfeld, Kartell, LeSportsac, Barbie, Sephora, Marvel, and others. Mohajer also co-founded Hard Candy, a cosmetics company that was sold to LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton in 1999.
After Hard Candy, she co-founded Creative Branding & Design, a full-service e-commerce management firm focused on partnering with fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. Client-partners included Oliver Peoples, Smashbox Cosmetics, Trina Turk, Bisou Bisou, Hot Kiss, Philip B, ABS by Allen Schwartz, and Black Eyed Peas. Creative branding and design provided a complete, outsourced solution for its clients’ online operations.

Mohajer received her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law and her BA from Vanderbilt University. Since 1996, she has been a member of EO, Entrepreneurs’ Organization, the premier, peer-to-peer network and resource for entrepreneurs, with more than 12,000 members worldwide. In 2014, she joined the board of directors of Children Mending Hearts, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering disadvantaged youth. Since 2016, she has served as a founding member of Inc. magazine’s board of advisers. Mohajer is a proud member of Marshall Goldsmith’s 100 Coaches Program.
